Lancashires ‘Jewel in the Crown’ Wedding Venue

Surrounded by stunning countryside stands a real jewel in the Lancashire wedding scene Rivington Hall Barn. Overlooked by Rivington Terrace gardens that dates back to the early 1900’s when Lord Leveshulme created an Italian inspired garden and the scene of many an exhausting walk to the top of the pike for yours truly.

Rivington Hall Barn has been one of our favourite wedding locations for as long as we have been photographing weddings well its only a short journey from where we live. It has many great memories of amazing weddings we have had the honour to photograph here the lighting inside is perfect for any party and the surrounding countryside a joy to photograph.

Vicky & James Wedding at Rivington Hall Barn

Vicky and James wanted their wedding to be fun a real party that everyone could enjoy and it didn’t disappoint even with the clam and relaxed start to the day for Vicky and her bridesmaids at the Hall she started the fun with a surprise car to bring James to the venue oh yes… the Only Fools and Horses 3 wheeler.

Even though the day was to be 100% fun the love these guys have for each other and their families is a joy to witness from an emotional ceremony to funny speeches to one of the craziest wedding parties we have photographed that had everybody dancing and at times on the tables well we did say they wanted the day to be fun.

During their portrait session around the hall we got to see the closeness that they have for each other they just are a perfect couple and where a total joy to photograph.
