THE PROCESS

01. THE PLANNING

…AKA THE STRESSFULL BIT

Planning your dream wedding can be both daunting and confusing but after the champagne has gone and the dance floor empties the lasting memories will be your wedding photographs so choosing the RIGHT wedding photographer for you is one of the most important decisions. The key to a perfect wedding day is preparation and our 30+ years of wedding experience & 1700+ weddings photographed give you confidence we can guide you through all the little details like timings that work, must have photos, recommended wedding vendors and much more.

Around 6 weeks before the wedding day we will schedule a video call so we can run through all the timings so the day runs smoothly, your family build up to make sure no one is missed off those all important family photos and any last minute changes that always happen.

the WEDDING DAY .02

…aka the eXCITING bit

The day is finally here and the excitement level is at 200%. Throughout the day we are always there but work seamlessly to blend into the background, capturing those moments between the moments & artistically creating your iconic wedding images. We work closely and respectfully during the ceremony and make sure that we keep that fun atmosphere going during the day whilst making sure your loved ones look and feel their very best something we have perfected over our many years of photographing weddings big and small.

We pride ourselves on delivering photos you can feel and the only way to get them is to be in the thick of the action and that means the party! when the lights go down and the band fires up then so do we; so when that first dance is over you will find us on the dance floor

03. THE MEMORIES

…AKA THE EMOTIONAL BIT

OK, the party may be over, the dance floor cleared and sore heads everywhere but what a day! and you want to relive every laugh, every tear, every moment of it and share these memories with family & friends and if your going to share photos then lets make them the best photos EVER! Within 48 hours you’ll receive a preview gallery of your wedding photos and we love when our couples share the love on their socials.

As we only undertake a set number of weddings a year this means we can give your wedding full attention delivering your full gallery within 2-3 weeks of your wedding day complete with music slideshow & ability to share & download images. If you have opted for one of our wedding album collections (and why wouldn’t you want the best way to present your wedding memories?)then after a few weeks of enjoying the photos its time to create your album and, as we have all the way through your wedding process, we personally undertake this working closely with you to create your perfect Bespoke Wedding Album that will treasured for generations.

BEHIND THE LENS…

Hi, We Are The STANBURY’S

Huge Congratulations…

On your engagement and thanks for dropping in. We are David & Jane and we are also married, hence The Stanbury’s.. well thats who we are.

Where do you start, well they say opposites attract and we are living proof of this….
Jane is a massive Elvis fan and David loves indie music, Jane loves Harley Davidson motorbikes and David loves Lambrettas, Jane before photography was a time served mechanic and David….. well lets say he wasnt.


We first met at school and have 3 children who have been well & truly photographed, after photography our other love is traveling; especially to experience different cultures & cuisines around the world but love nothing more than a chippy tea.


Our photography business started over 30 years ago out of our love for photography & the perfect image, but over the years our need to be creative, to tell stories with our cameras grew so much that the business turned into what it is today….. our life!

GOT MORE QUESTIONS?

Firstly thank you for getting in touch with us, usually you will receive a reply within a few hours. We check our availability, if we are free on your date we send our latest brochure which has everything you need to know. We love to talk over your plans on the phone, but sometimes our couples want to just book & talk later so they get their date secured.

If we have availability & your happy to go ahead and book, we just need two things to secure your date. 

A £400 booking fee along with all the wedding details along with a signed e-contract.

Final balances are due 4 weeks prior to the wedding date, we will invoice you your total with details on where to pay. 

Of course, yes you can… It can be sometimes overwhelming & you are not quite sure exactly what you want especially booking so far in advance but rest assured you can then add on or change extra services (like our Highlights Film) Just email us with any upgrades you wish to add but please be aware once our highlights film is added you cannot downgrade

We totally get that you want to see your wedding photos and Highlight Film asap so heres an idea of timings…

PHOTOGRAPHY – We love to deliver a full preview gallery of up to 50 images within 48 hours of your wedding.
Your full collection of images will be delivered within 2-3 weeks.
HIGHLIGHTS FILM- again we aim to deliver a ‘teaser’ within 1 week and the final highlights film within 2-3 weeks.

Your Photos & Film are delivered via your exclusive Online gallery that is private & secure and also gives you the ability to make your own favourite selections & share / download with your guests

Completely depends on your day, how much is going on, how long we are there for & what things you have planned for the day, etc. It’s impossible to guesstimate a number. The more things you have going on, the more photos you’ll get.

On average over all of our packages – between 400 and 600 photos.

If you book our highlight film on a full day wedding package then expect a film of between 5 -10 minutes long. Our highlight films cover all aspects of the wedding and come with copyright background music and voice over snippets of the ceremony & speeches.

Please Note:We do not include the FULL ceremony or speeches, our Highlight films are exactly that, the highlights of your day, if you are looking for a more traditional, longer wedding film then we advise looking for alternative professional wedding videographers who we are more than happy to work with.

If you are planning a wedding abroad or perhaps a little further a field from where we are based near Manchester, then yes we do charge a small fee for travel and if an overnight stay is needed this will also be added. We want to ensure we are near by your venue so we are ready to shoot without any delays. As each wedding is different, it’s best to request more info at the time of booking. Getting married abroad then we can provide you with costings on request this is usually a set fee that includes everything.

yes we are, we take this very seriously. We have Full public liability insurance & Indemnity insurance. These certificates are available upon request should your venue / planner need these., please just ask them to drop us an email.
