Photographing any couples wedding at Knowsley Hall is a professional photographers dream and we are lucky to say we have captured many weddings at this luxurious country estate and we can now add to that list Jamie & Victoria’s awesome wedding day.

Surrounded by 2500 acres of stunning gardens Knowsley Hall makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs add to that the super helpful staff and amazing food and you have one of the best wedding venues in the country.

Victoria’s family are considered ‘Wedding Royalty’ as the family have owned Creation Weddings (one of the few wedding gown suppliers that can still offer hand made wedding gowns) for decades and their reputation among the wedding community is second to none, so Knowsley Hall seemed the obvious venue for this epic wedding.

Jamie is a real petrol head and is part of the super successful Mercedes Formula 1 racing team that has just won the constructors world title along with Lewis Hamilton as World Champion Driver and together these two love to explore & travel the world but love most being together at home with their cats.

The ceremony took place at Wigan Parish Church and Victoria was the 3rd Generation of Ellison’s to marry here.

Victoria loves riding horses and her horse even came to say hello in the morning but her favourite part of the day was when Jamie surprised her with a horse & carriage to take her to the church
Victoria says… I always used to hear the church bells when I was younger in the town centre on a Saturday and thought “that will be me one day” and I remember standing outside the church on our wedding day listening to the bells thinking “everyone in Wigan can hear I’ve just got married”

Jamie & Victoria’s Awesome Wedding at Knowsley Hall

So on a sunny day Jamie & Victoria became Mr & Mrs and their new story began. This was such an extra special day for us as we have known the Ellison’s for years and over the last few years become close friends with Jamie also.

We knew that Jamie & Victoria would have a crazy fun wedding day and they didn’t disappoint us with colourful bridesmaids, amazing details, great speeches and a perfect first dance their wedding was perfect.

It was also fun to work with our fellow friends in the wedding world, suppliers we have known and laughed with for many years.
