Katie & Ryan are so awesome to be around, just the nicest people and have the nicest families. They chose West Tower for their wedding and its easy to see why…. its stunning!!!

West Tower is a little gem hidden away in the gorgeous countryside around Aughton just outside Liverpool and is a regular favourite of ours so its always a joy when we get to shoot cool weddings there.

Heres a few of our favourites from Katie & Ryan’s big day….

It was all smiles as we arrived at Katies parents house and whilst Katie & her bridesmaids got ready we wandered around capturing these special moments in our documentary style. Its important for us to get everyone use to the camera early so we can just blend into the background for the rest of the day.

Capturing Special Moments

The ceremony took place at St Pauls church in the village of Adlington and it was such a special moment as Katie and her father walked up the aisle proudly watch by her mother to marry Ryan infront of their closest family and friends.

Katie is really passionate about the Girl Guides and is such an inspirational leader, so it was so special to see a ‘guard of honor’ from her Girl Guides as they left the church.

West Tower – Exclusive Wedding Venue

Katie & Ryan have great taste and the styling for their wedding was perfect, a real match of their favourite flowers & love of travelling. We have said many times we love the speeches and these speeches didn’t disappoint, full of funny stories and even a few secrets came out to the discomfort of a few guests all adding to the laughter.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside West Tower is perfect for wedding photographers as it has gorgeous photo locations inside & outside and the staff are super helpful but really West Tower is all about that view and the stunning sunsets. We love taking couples out for a quiet 10 minutes after the meal so they can spend a bit of quality time with each other before the crazy evening party to follow.

Katie & Ryans first dance ended with a really touching moment when Katie had a dance with her dad, as always watched on by her very proud mum and then the Fun Time Frankies got everyone on the dance floor and the party really started. Guest danced into the early hours and yes there was a few awesome dance moves as everyone had just the best time.

To us capturing those special wedding moments is so important, our goal was to tell the story of Katie & Ryans day from start to finish and to show how close they are to their family & friends but at all times the love they have for each other.
