2017 - look back at our wedding photography year

After thousands of clicks of our cameras over 365 days it all comes down to an end of year 100 from 2 photographers.

Being wedding photographers and also being married with a family means that the days fly by and a whole year can disappear in a blink, in fact 24 years have flown by and we now enter our 25th year in business, 25 years of capturing and presenting memories.

We still feel extremely lucky to do what we do and LOVE what we do, we still get that tingle of excitement when we arrive at a wedding, when we see all the fun & hear the laughter and dare i say we still get a tear in our eyes at those special moments, yep we are extremely lucky.

As we enter a new year and with all the excitement to come we do love to look back at the memories that WE have from 2017 and this is exactly what this blog post is all about, not the technically perfect award winning signature images that we are known for but those moments between the moments that bring back amazing memories & stories that WE have from just the most epic 2017.

So this is our 100 images,Images that made us smile, images that put a little bit of dust in our eye 😉 , images of our travels and new friends we have made, images that just made 2017 one of the best ever.

A year that saw us travel to all parts of the UK & Europe not only as photographers but as photography judges and trainers and photography consultants for some of the biggest names in our industry. From venues 5 mins from where we live to Castles in Scotland and ceremonies on the side of a mountain in the French Alps our wedding photography journey never fails to deliver new experiences.

The high points have been all the new friends we have made along the way who will be friends forever and the new photographers that we have had the pleasure to meet just starting out at our workshops and I have to admit when i meet new photographers we always say the same thing….

Welcome to the best job in the world, WOW are you going to have fun!!!

A huge thank you to all our amazing couples who we had the honour of photographing during 2017, you guys all made it such a special year for us, you made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel so welcome and we will never forget that. To our friends in this fantastic industry (you all know who you are) thank you again for your continued support you really make it just a joy to do what we do and to our couples who 2018 is going to be THEIR YEAR then get ready…. its going to be AMAZING !!!!!
